Ambere Rogers 

The studio has been a part of Ambere's entire life, and she has been instructing beginner to advanced students in jazz, modern, hip-hop, as well as choreographing for Teen and Adult Companies, since 2005. Ambere received her BFA in Dance in 1997, from the University of Mass. Ambere's additional training: Bates Dance Festival, Education of the Arts in New Haven, Lynn Simonson (Certificate: Lynn Simonson Technique), Parsons Dance Intensive, Jaime Rogers, Lee Lund, Bebe Miller, Jin-When Yu, Paul Hall, Chris Gibson, Rennie Harris, Polo Rogers. She has taught modern and jazz at University of Mass, and Mount Holyoke College; jazz at Southport Racquet Club, Shubert Summer Academy, and Cultural Camp in Milford.  Ambere is also a Faculty Member at Dance New Amsterdam, NYC, where she is teacher and choreographer.  

Co-Director

Ambere performed in the U.S. 1st National Tour of Mamma Mia!, the Off-Broadway, and Regional Productions of Fame, and held the position of Dance Captain with Royal Carribean Cruise Line Productions. She has performed in the companies of esteemed New York choreographers Diane MacArthy, and Kevin Wynn, and she is also a member of New York's Vissi Dance Company, with whom she continues to perform professionally. Ambere wishes to instill in every student, her thrill and love for dance, not only through instruction, but also by giving them a chance to share many of the exciting dance experiences that have been opened up to her throughout the last decade.  

Ambere strives to offer her students the chance to see and engage in real performance opportunities, within Connecticut and New York City, as well as continuing the tradition of bringing into the Studio, new, successful, professional guest choreographers, every year.

Debi Paserelli

Co-Director

Debi received her BFA in Dance from the University of Bridgeport.  She studied and taught all dance techniques for the past 14 years throughout CT.  Debi has performed professionally with Philadanco and numerous dinner theatres.

Lee Lund

Founder

Director of the Lee Lund Dance Studio, for 20 years, Lee returned to her hometown of Milford from L.A. to raise her daughter Ambere Rogers, and she and her sister, Denise, opened the Lee Lund Dance Studio.   Her training consisted of: The Julliard School of Music, Conn. College of Dance, Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, Martha Graham School of Dance, Ballet Arts, Anthony Tutor, Robert Geoffery, Jose Limon, Merce Cunningham,    Paul Sanasardo, Claude Thompson, Luigi, Peter Genarro and Jaime Rogers. Lee performed on television with such notables as Andy Williams, Sonny & Cher, Goldie Hawn, Bill Cosby, John Denver, Mary Tyler Moore, five Academy Award Specials, in such films as Bedknobs and Broomsticks, New York New York, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, on Broadway in Hello Dolly, Henry Sweet Henry, West Side Story, Hyman Kaplan and Promises Promises.

Dennie Kirkpatrick

Founder

Educated at American University in Washington, D.C. with the Jose Limon Dance Company, Wolff Trap with Anna Sokoloff, Lucas Hoving and Bob Bowyer, Ms. Kirkpatrick began her own teaching career at Virginia Intermont College. She was assistant choreographer for the music video Swinging School and participated in a public service announcement for a nationally televised Child Abuse Prevention Campaign. Her diverse background and expertise in the fields of dance, education and business is demonstrated in the tremendous success of the Lee Lund Dance Studio.
